Team Katie once again showed up in a big way, this time for the 53rd Falmouth Road Race, with 16 runners for Team Katie’s Cure raising $35k for Compassionate Care ALS. Behind the scenes, Team Katie also raised $14k for Katie and her family directly, selling parking spots at the finish line home of Team Katie’s Pretty Patty’s house, and with a raffle basket valued at over $1,800 in gift certificates and swag from Falmouth businesses (thank you Lauren and Pretty Patty!!) We had an amazing fundraiser at The Flying Bridge restaurant on September 25! The singer, Jonathan Cabral, was the perfect fit for our crew, shouting out Katie’s Cure any chance he got. He even played a few of Sophia’s faves - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Shake It Off (yes, by t swift) and Wheels on the Bus. We look forward to having him at future events.
